Those woodchip bricks are amazing, its what we have gone with. Not sure though how long ago you chose them as our builders told us they were being discontinued around the time we started the brickwork (March). Just a heads up. Love the rest of the choices though.

Ours is 3.2 x 1.6 and now that walls are in, we can safely say that its enormous. It will fit my wife's mahogany desk, and a set of filing cabinets besides. In saying that though its open, so no door. Thanks! Is the entry on the 3.2 or 1.6? Entry is on the 3.2. But the entry is a little narrower th...

Hey neighbour, Hows the build going? How long till you guys move in? I know a good removalist :P Hahaha. Gyprock should be finished this week, tilers to start Monday with the kitchen to be installed in the next 3 weeks. I assume this all means we are getting rather close. We have had no dramas sinc...

Love your roof colour, is that walnut? Oh wow, what happened with your block? I was debating between two (Same size, same street, about 10 houses apart) but one was in an earlier stage which was expecting to title 6 months earlier than the second block. I took the second block as I needed time to s...
Completely forgot about all this. Yep, I think the roof is walnut, and the bricks are woodchip, though from what I unde...

Hey guys, We are currently about to have our roof finished, and have been thinking about a few options for the yard, and I have 3, er, 4 questions. 1. If we wanted to build the back yard up by around 30cm (to reduce the height of a retaining wall under 1.5m to avoid council submission) and we just f...

Welcome!!! I love your plans. Very practical and the pool in the center will look pretty awesome. Love the extra large shower in the en suite :D I don't know how people survived with 900x900 showers.. oh wait I still live in a house with one. Your build is moving very quickly, your so lucky :D I bo...

It depends a lot on the style of yard you want too - Aussie outback with drought proof plants, Balinese style with lots of tropical plants ( a lot more watering needed ) or a modern contemporary style. Knowing where you live and the local climate you have will enable people to give you an informed ...

Hi guys, We have just started to have our roof tiled, and figured it was time to work out what we are going to do with our yard. Before the cut was done, we had NO IDEA there was going to be such a dramatic fall, but in saying that, we think it could turn out really nice. This is the house plan, and...

Hi guys, Very new here, and will most likely do this piecemeal as i don't have the attention span to do it in one sitting. So my wife and I decided to start thinking about buying a house/building a house, and with the prices here we quickly established that it would be just as cheap to build our hom...

Yeah ours is much the same. 1m from garage wall to boundary with 1m retaining wall plus boundary fence, and the other side is our entryway. The Mrs is worried but I'm not. I think we will probably just leave it, thanks for the reply!!

Hey guys, We have just started our build, and have realised that for whatever reason the garage doesn't have a window in it. I imagine that I could approach our builder and get one installed, but is it important enough? Most places being build in our area, and MOST plans I have looked at have one, b...

We are building with Pycon, and although we are only at slab stage we have loved it so far. They told us last week that we were up for some extra piers due to extra top soil, and have intimated that they want to do us a favour with some landscaping costs. :z:

Also from Port, we started 24/2 and have loved our builders. The area we are building in is absolutely exploding, cannot believe how quick a lot of these places are going up.
