Thanks again Titania64! I just had a question in regards to everyones loans. We have been approved for the land but our mortgage broker said he cant process the build until we have council approved plans. Is this the case for everyone? If so, when should we be getting council approved plans?

That shouldn't be a problem. I work in this industry with investment properties and if your bank is saying this is a problem then I'd go to another mortgage broker or financer. I have several contacts with different brokers if you are wanting another opinion.

Anyone heard any updates? I spoke to the developer late last week and he said that they should be starting work early to mid March. Just waiting on council for approval to go ahead so hopefully we will see something in next few weeks.
