7m x 3.5m would probably be out max... maybe 6m x 3m I do not mind the second one... im guessing at fiberglass above ground, it would need some pretty hardcore (read: expensive) piering or something under it?

That would be great, thanks! What's the total cost, roughly? For my vague description above, would it be much price difference between flat bottom or sloping? :::

Our house needs to be raised, which means our alfresco area will be around 1.3m off the ground, so we would proba...

We have moved into our new home, and we have appliances (for example, kettle) on the bench nextt o the stove. This has cupboards above it, and I am wondering what people do, if anything, to prevent the steam moisture under the overhead cupboards from the kettle and such? or is it really a non issue?

Kettle was only used as an example. Did not think it wa...

in all fairness it cannot be expected that they pay for utilities solely being used to build your house erm, why not? I think it is completely fair to expect a trades person to provide 100% of the service they are selling you.

How much did it cost to have a house drawn up? Did you go in with a rough drawn out plan yourself? Did you decide to go this way because you couldnt find a plan you liked at a volume builder?

Hello, Weird question, was not sure where to ask. I have googles, but my googling skills seem lacking. My deck is cost $4500 with steel frame , merbau21sqm. We are also considering going with a steel frame, as we are in a flood zone, and thought it might be better in the long run if it ends up sitting in pools of water (it will be 1.2m off the ground though) But it is a lot more expensive... quotes ...
