Hi, I'm building a concrete pool that will be finished with https://www.blueglasspebble.com.au/glass-pebble-products.html . I did not include any waterline tiles in the contract but the more I read about them the more I think I should add them. It looks like the pool will look better and it will be ...

Still have not moved in, not been a great build if I'm honest (not great = horrible and over contract). I'm still sold on the window choice though. I intend on doing some non scientific testing on them after we move in (god knows when), then I can provide some feedback. 7 of the windows are nice an...
Sorry to hear that. Hopefully it will all work out in the end.

Actually that is my only option. I can't redirect it to the sewer. It think this is unique to QLD.

I'm with you here. The problem is that the builder insists we need to do something to show that we are actively managing water that used fall onto my yard and now falls to the pool. And I really don't wan to have a rubble pit.

Hi @evokE ARCHITECTS. No, this is to manage the overflow from the pool. Because the pool is lower than the street level the build wants to use a rubble pit. I prefer to pump it out to the street. Directly from the pool when it reaches certain level. I can't imagine this would be hard to do. Wouldn't...

Hi, I'm planning to build a pool on a slightly sloping block. It slopes away from the house and there is no storm water pipe at the back. It's an old suburb. The builder proposed a rubble pit which is not something I'm keen on because of many reasons (look, Brisbane City Council will not be happy, ...

Hi, I'm looking for someone to do landscaping end to end for me. So far I've been only able to find small, boutique companies that usually work on sophisticated projects and thus are quite expensive. What I need is something simple + pool. Any recommendations? I'm based in Brisbane.

Hi, I'm planning to install solar panels and build a pool with a heating pump. Does it matter witch one I get done first? Or maybe there is a logical sequence? Thanks

Hello, Is it an acceptable practice to protect storm water pipes in the ground with just tape? https://forum.homeone.com.au/u/69405_1499776778.png

Interesting, my understanding is that once the build reaches PC you can technically speaking move in.

Hi, One post a day would is not enough :). I'm in Brisbane and it looks like Form 21 (http://www.hpw.qld.gov.au/SiteCollectionDocuments/form-21.pdf) aka Final Inspection Certificate is rather important. What is not clear to me is that how it relates to PC and/or whether I can move in without it? Tha...

Looking at Council standard drawings and I'm wondering whether 125 mm only applies to the driveway on the council land? https://www.brisbane.qld.gov.au/sites/default/files/bsd-2022_c_vehicle_crossing_driveway_-_single_dwelling.pdf
