Thanks Steely21. We are with Champion. They have not been too bad, but as soon as we pointed out a mistake they had made they threatened to charge us more. I am interested to know if anyone else has had to pay Council fees for a standard approval of a Thornton house.

We spent about $5K, mostly on tiles. Extra powerpoints were minimal cost. The builder has now foreshadowed that they will be charging us an extra $10K for Council approvals. Has anyone come across this charge in Thornton?

For Lily 123456: I wondered this myself and so had a look at the time from Penrith approving the DA to granting the CC and found that for Champion Homes it averaged 120 days and for Rawson Homes it averaged 172 days.
