Do you have it in writing that the stormwater could not be done until after handover? If so the builder is responsible for the site until handover and this includes stormwater flow as a temporary solution. I am assuming you are talking about the water coming off your roof, if not you'll need to expl...

There is a difference between the homeowner doing stormwater after hand over and the builder putting in temp stormwater. The builder is still required to use temporary stormwater drainage, as an owner you aren't allowed onsite to install anything until after handover so the builder still needs to ru...

Our build is at lock up stage and we haven't done stormwater as we are planning on doing this ourselves after the build (to save money of c...
The builder is supposed to have temporary downpipes in place I though as part of AS2870

I bought this up with our builder - Coral when we were building. They do not cover any owner supplied fixtures or appliances. Also you cannot get insurance for these good separately as it gets too messy if someone leaves the door open etc, who is responsible. Our good were installed 2 weeks prior to...

Oh thats cool. Did you have to chase them up to get that credit or did they do it automatically? Sorry missed this one. Yes we had to follow it up and it went for review to head office however our wording was different to their standard wording for fencing.

If he is reasonably competent and not overloaded with overseeing to many builds, things should in theory go ok... after all these are project homes. Unfortunately ours has been a ...
I think it also comes down to the home owner as well. Make sure the plans are right, make sure the paperwork is right a...

I tried to take a photo but it was hard with the sun.. but you can kind of see what the issue is. All the lumps and bumps of the MDF doors show up really really badly with black paint. They prepped them and came back twice to fix them up but they just don't look good [emoji20] http://uploads.tapata...
Ask them to 2 pac the doors. It's almost like power coating and is usually done on kitchen cabinets for that nice gloss...

We put 13 in. We did media, office and activity room for the kids in the future. I also put one on the ceiling for a central Wireless access point. 90% of domestic gadgets are WIFI now, even security cameras can be wifi unless you need PoE.

No, so in your plan you will assigned a single batten per room and that is usually included in the base price of the house, remove it and you don't g...
