Hi fellow Sandys Once we had taken the house, we really struggled with trying to visulise the driveway which needed to slope towards the house and all the level issues between garage and the porch. The last thing we wanted was water running straight through the front door! So I thought I would shar...

They just roofed my house. I just wanted to know if any of you asked for sarking. PD told me at contract that they don't install roof sarking as standard at contract. No big deal but those at planning stage may want to consider sarking. Did anyone find it odd that the portico floor is slightly lowe...
We didn't do sarking either. Also were surprised about portico being lower and yet to think about how to tackle drivewa...

Just did my frame inspection. Nothing major, picked up a few things such as missing screws and not enough nails on floor boards. Also front steel beam was overhanging the slab a bit. Was told that gas pipes was a bit too fat for the wall cavities and may affect ventilation. Just a word of advice for...
