Hi I am not an expert, because I've been doing my homework on timber flooring as well, so 130 mm (downward) can be secret nailed, if you have a large room/ or house I would go for 130mm. HTH Cheers

A few times I've heard where these wide boards has been installed this way only for problems to arise down the track. The installers response was that the moisture level in the house has changed, not enough ventilation in the house or some other made up story to weasel their way out of it. YMMV as ...

Hi All, I have been advised that if I go for wide board 130mm upward I need to top nailed to ensure no cupping or moving, has any one come across this issue? is there any other option? I've also been told that they can glue them down but not 100% guarantee. Thank you
