On another note, has anyone who has moved into their Waldorf feel the standard 5.7m wide garage is sufficient? I had a 0.7m width extension ($1507!?) to be built on boundary line that now needs to be removed and entire house shifted by a metre due to the south boundary neighbour objecting to oversh...

Anyone wants to share how they have laid out their formal lounge We walled it in and made it our cinema room, as the 'normal' cinema room was converted to a guest suite.

Hi a bit of an update from us, as it's been quite a while! After moving in on Cup Day, fighting with Telstra to get a phone line put in, the driveway base and two attempts to get the footpath done (blog posts on those at some point to follow), we have done nothing else to the house on the outside. W...

How are you liking the floor, Chris? We got a quote from *** for the Colonial in Spotted Gum last week... Probably going to do the entire house like you guys did, and use rugs in some of the rooms... Small blog update: Painting Finished! http://itsallaboutthewaldorf.blogspot.com.au/2015/10/painting-finished.html What colours are used there? They are all the same colours as used in the Waldorf 48 at Berwick Waters. The WoS will have the build details, but if they can not find them for you, then ...

:) I was wondering when someone (other than me!) would post something! We just had our 90 day inspection. A few things have been broken since day one-out-of-the-box, namely the Blanco crap (how can Italy be in the G8?). The dish washer top draw always collapses down into it's lower position. The fre...

Look at our dates below. Personally, I would love to do some statistical analysis on builds times, especially comparing Brick and Hebel build times. Our was Hebel.

It's the 900 free standing cooker. I don't have a rangehood yet (tomorrow! ??) so I can not even tell you how the gas top works. One thing I will say, compared to my Miele the glass of the oven door, and the metal above the door opening gets uncomfortably hot.

Really unhappy with the Blanco 900mm wide oven. My fault, I made a wrong assumption. The oven space, though the width of a 900 is NOT the depth that I'd have expected it to be. It's about 35-36 cm deep. I just checked my Electrolux Steam Oven, and it's 44cm deep (a 600 wide). So I can not put my two...

It's a wood door right? Given the changes in humidity over the last few days, I would not be surprised if doors bowed a bit; they did in my 10 YO house. Or is this a permanent thing?

It's a BIG assumption that they are second hand, did anyone consider a large bulk purchase that is still being run down?

Had some dramas with the crossover. One of the tradies called it quits mid way through the pour. The man down in terms of man power when you're fighting concrete that is setting and waits for no one was a battle they were never going to win. They (and the council) said that they'd rip up all 22m of ...

As it goes down, about 10-30cm from the bottom it thinks it's hit something and fully opens. I attempted to reprogram the travel limits, but it really does not want to travel all the way down at all. Also looks to be excess slack in the belt too. So I'll need someone to look at it as it's not a simp...

I love your flooring mate, so does my missus... Will have to get exactly what it is from you at some stage Brand: QuickStep Style: Colonial Colour: Blackbutt There is a link to the manufacturer on one of my recent pages.
