Thanks for the tips. I did try the replacement plug from Bunnings and that leaked too, but not the replacement plug/waster combo. Ended up buying one of their $3 big rubber plugs that covers the whole waste hole. Works a treat when there's enough water in the sink to weigh it down. Not very good at...
