We are doing similar flooring and all people I have spoken to in regards to the laying have recommended installing skirting and then the flooring.... Doesn't seem like it would be right.... But no one had ever mentioned scotia and the skirting! Strange. Hopefully they are going to be slotting someth...

Just another one I would mention and consider, the bathroom window, check out pictures of the stoneleigh. I would consider changing to the same as that window, it fills the whole back wall and for some reason I just think it makes the room a bit bigger and looks nicer!

I wouldn't get down about it! Your slab went down end of June, most builders claim about a 7 month build.. Really I think they look at 6 but give a lead time of 6.5-7. Your 4 months into the build.. They have gone pretty far! You have to try forget purchasing the land a year ago because you weren't ...

The BT house 2 doors down from you has started now and probably has more done than yours! How the hell can they do that? Yours was ready weeks before them, if I'm right I think they went down same time as my slab! Sounds like some bad scheduling going on there, or they had it organised. I'm so glad ...

Good luck with the brickies next week! We got the same construction timeline email saying bricks will start next week and the 4-7 week timeframe, I think that's more for them to let you know there is a $ above that and you will be paying soon! Haha
