Yep short of tradies i think and the fact last week it rained everyday. But it's just frustrating. Our frames have been up for 2 weeks now. There are now houses in our estate that had their slab laid after us and they are now being bricked. Sometimes I wish we had never decided to build a new house....

I'm so happy for you chris they look awesome. What bricks did you get? Hope I haven't already asked you that. We got a call today,despite having bricks and sand they are not starting our bricking until Friday next week "if we are lucky". It's ridiculous. And now it's freaking raining AGAIN...

I don't know it was always a fixed price even at quote confirmation when we paid the deposit.

We have H1 class which I'm not worried about the extra piering but the sewer connection which was a fixed cost.

We were told 80 would be plenty and we didn't have the option to fix I don't think.

They had allowed 80 lm and we ended up with 98.8. So they have charged us $65 per extra lm as well as extra for the concrete.

They are **. It just didn't make sense. Thank Ann I will call them tomorrow. I can't believe they would try it when you are already spending so much plus there is a 20% builders levy on top.

We received a letter from allworth today advising the additional cost of our piering. They also advised we were getting a credit back on storm water drainage connection. Yay Our problem is our sewer connection, our quote we signed says the cost was fixed but they want to charge us $640 extra. I didn...

No they are bricking it first because they need to do brick pylons to hold up our alfresco, our facade and garage.

No we haven't had this issue chris and all our plumbing and tap positions have been done. All our taps etc have been upgraded because we are building a the Altona as it appears on display.
