Thanks for your response. Unfortunately, the current certified Construction/engineering details didn't detect the water table. Thus, currently builder has contacted structural and hydraulic engineer to get their opinion on what to do about it. I am wondering if someone here has experienced such thin...

I’d make the study smaller and try and add in a wall of storage in laundry, you have no storage downstairs at all, you would only need to take 400-500mm from the study which would still be very functional. We will have massive storage at back side of the basement garage.
