Hi http://scyon.com.au/ scyon is a rely good material to use if your situation. The board is waterproof and is rely good for suspended works. p.s even though it is waterproof Australian standards state that you still need to waterproof it. Hope this helps

HI, as a waterproofer by trade i can tell you that you would be lucky if this bathroom will last you 6 months. There are several issues with this bathroom. 1. One coat of waterproofing is not sufficient in a shower area! Shower areas need a minimum of 2 coats. 2. The holes can not be left like that....

Stewie is right, The stuff you are seeing comes from the cement. you can try cleaning grout but do not use any bleach based substance as it will deteriorate your waterproofing underneath. As a waterproofer by trade I can tell you bleech in bathrooms do not mix. if you can't clean them then re grout ...
