I concur Dunco, we also built with Tribute Homes late last year and are very happy with their process and the end result. our kitchen installer told us to stay away from a mirrow splashback because we had a free standing gas oven/cooktop. Overtime the heat may damage the mirror apparently.

Hi Dunco, 100% Right there Dunco We just got an email from our builder to say that with the darker roof, we needed to upgrade the insulation in the roof to R2.5 ceiling insulation and enviroseal wrap to roof in lieu of Anitcon Roof insulation. This would be an additional $444.00 So we have changed ...

We are using that new exterior cladding (http://scyon.com.au/stria.html) - its about 325mm wide and is triple insulated and being in the tropics it will reduce our reliance on air conditioning.
