Hi, just wondering what we should expect to pay (roughly) for rendering a front fence... We got a quote for a base render but it seems kind of high. Its one of those little things left over from the main house reno. Can anyone advise a guide to what we should expect per m2? Cheers,

Heya :-) at the risk of making a daft request... we would realy love some inspiration for what to do with our front fence... we have a 1950s house that we pulled apart and put back together into a slightly more functional plan... having technical issues posting a pic but its in a classic cream rende...

thanks for your thoughts everyone - it all helps... we are leaning towards a dark splashback (not quite black) more charcoalish with a bit of sparkle... probably put that in first the look at what wall colour but I will definitely look at all of your suggestions, so thanks again :-)

here's ours :-) not quite finished because we are about 2 weeks out from moving in, all going to plan... and it's all hands on deck at the moment, tradies utes everywhere... we've kept the colours really basic - we'll get all crazy and colourful with our towels! http://imageshack.us/a/img801/9387/ds...

Thanks KerryAnn and LeanneR... What colour walls do ou have? We want something that is light & bright - never thought all of these little decisions would be so hard - the colours template we pick is going throughout the house - this is looking from the kitchen out through the dining/living rooms...

Heya :-) Mine's almost finished but I'm hoping for some thoughts on splashback & wall colours... Our cupboards are classic white gloss, our benchtops are Essastone New Basmati (i'm not imagining it - they will go in on tuesday)... Kickboards are stainless steel & floor is recycled jarrah... ...

steveandmary - so where did u end up buying your tiles haven't done it yet!!! :wink: i have dome some stuff though - picked out my appliances, decided on all the taps, showers & those bits 'n bobs, know the interior colours & finishes we want to live with...still working on the external col...

Hi Chippy, No, I don't think we are going to make the 30% of the remaining walls so it will be classified as indoor. The bench top will be completely protected from direct light though so I guess that opens up our options there.
