At least that is so e progress we don't even have the list of what they will do back from the, yet and the inspector came to view the place mid feb. the whole process is totally pathetic.

Pathetic arnt they, pity we cannot claim the interest we are paying on the loans for houses we cannot live in, rent etc, while they take their time.

thats what they did with us. We just moved the Meter box and again the electrician, put in the pit to join the cables, and made the connections to the new meter box on the house. We got power connected to our rural block. There is an energy company ours was sp ausnet that puts in poles and the transformer. We had to dig from the pole to the house and barn sites. my advice is to go with a builder that has been around for awhile and is very stable. Having gone with a smaller builder and having them go bankrupt and another fleecing us of a deposit I would go with a company big enough to guarantee they will stay around. Too many builders going into liquidation ...

that is good news for you. Might be quicker than the insurance company. The liquidators builder has not bothered to contact me at all. I expect I am going to be in the cant be helped bucket. i did costings to finish the work on our place and its around $114k and given final payment is around 40k the...

ok so could the week get any worse. So not only do I get abused by tradies looking for money, the builder finally goes into liquidation and just to top things off the building comission inform me that the Building surveyor has been de registered.
