Trudy, I saw online a few days ago that the price of the Talise Q2 has now been revised to $204,900 from the original price of $207,900 (here's the 3ks savings!). I haven't signed the building contract with them as yet so I am pretty sure I can enjoy the lower revised price. The next bit is a little...

Yes, how I wished I had the money tree! I will probably not go with the extra stacker doors but opt for tall windows if cost is not too exhorbitant; I just love open spaces. Thanks too for the reality check on the wardrobes fitout in ensuite, that will surely hurt bad on pockets too ::hyst:: Will do...

Hi Domus, I share your same concerns as I expect to start building towards year end and can feel butterflies in my stomach as I engross myself more and more into this megaproject. After screening through all the blogs/experiences posted regarding the big builders, I have come to the conclusion that ...

Hi Chatz...awesome satelite pics! I loved the "before and after" thingy and your pool looks cool sitting there ::cool:: Trudy, thanks for the quote on dining room extension cost. I am SO tempted by the timber stacking doors but another $700 is going to hurt again. The spa idea is indeed fu...

::cheerleader:: ::cheerleader:: ::cheerleader:: I am dying to follow your build next month, Trudy! I'm playing with the idea of popping an outdoor spa in the corner of Bed4 and family room. Also looking at putting timber decking all along the back strip along the side of Bed4. What are your thoughts...

No worries. I am building the Talise which has no display homes too! I chose it because it fits perfectly onto my block and I love the practical layout of the rooms. I guess we just have to keep our fingers crossed and hope for the best. Cheers M2

Hi G, I going for the Q2: absolutely building to the max already   No regrets as my entire family are definitely not born green fingers  I combed thru all the big boys builders and came up with Talise that fits like a glove on my building envelope. Downside as you mentioned is there a...

Hi Trudy, Thanks for reply. I actually asked sales consultant that I wanted a realistic "shift-in" figure so that I know exactly where I stand with my finances. He estimated roughly another 30k based on the stuff you mentioned post-handover. Honestly though, I won't be surprised if I will ...

Got it! Hey, your design is very similar to the Talise (difference is mainly one extra bedroom). I love the simple but practical layout plans and more importantly, efficient use of space. The living room and dining opening into the alfresco is absolutely brilliant too! ::smile:: Did you make any maj...

Thanks, wilson 3199. When does your build start? I haven't visited Settlers Run before but heard that it is a beautiful place. Will drop by one day soon for sure. Wow, looks like you have seen TONS of houses and done quite a fair bit of homework too! :: :: :: I was limited by the size of my land which left me with very few designs. Bingo ::wink:: Plenty of help then! I guess my boys are here to stay for some time more as we are a pretty close knit family unit; but you never know where/when work takes them away.
