Since you say it's a top floor apartment, I assume it's a strata building? If so, what do your by-laws say? I'm asking as most by-laws include something about not being able to replace the flooring type without approval from the owner's corporation due to noise. So, if your building does have a by-...
Yes it is a unit. No by-law restricting what floor coverings. So which is better? Floor tiles or floating floor board?

Hi there We are renovating our unit and are looking to change the flooring from carpet to either floor tiles or floor boards. We also need to put in a built-in wardrobe. Do we change the flooring first or do we put in the wardrobe first? Many thanks in advance for your answers. Regards
