Almost finished now, All that is needed is a nice piece of Black Granite for a Hearth and the last section of stack stone layed above the hearth and the skirting's installed either side. I am going to clear coat the stack-stone which brings out the colour even more. [url] http://img816.imageshack.us...

Do you have to build a hebel chimney or will this just be fire retardent plasterboard? The Section above the Black Granite Mantle is timber frame lined with cement sheeting which is non combustible then plasterboard over . I just plumbed up to the underside of the roof deck and marked it and then drilled 4 holes in the circle every 90 degrees. Went up top and cut hole and installed dektite (heat resistant one) then plenty ...

I think that centre pot will look gorgeous against your wall! I can't suggest much for plants as I'm guessing you are down south and my gardening experience is all in the tropics where its pretty easy to get anything to grow. A thought I had was to raise the pot on a pedestal of some sort in the ce...

The red flax is wrong, a green strappy leaf is whats required, like the liy turf suggested, it will grow in part shade, deep shade, or full sun. in a moist fertile soil. It has blue trumpets of flowers. The hedging aroun...
