Good progress Tribe!! Definitely churning along now! What size shed did you go with? It’s starting to get there now it’s exciting. I spoke to the kitchen company this morning too. Shed is a 6X9m we are using Kam Constructions at Jimboomba. If you want a shed definitely give Yvonne a call. They are ...

This is a question aimed at those who have built on a 1 acre lot. How much did you spend on turf? I imagine to turf the whole lot would be too expensive. Just trying to work out how much to budget for this. We will probably go for empire zoysia. Cheers

The Crossing (at Colleges) are mostly half acres. Jimboomba Woods is very nice...we went out there last weekend. The Denver is a great house, although the fancy facade they chose isn't really to our taste.

Thanks mate. We had asphalt on a small area in the past and I parked my car on it everyday for 3 years. Because my tyres were in the same spot everyday...it basically wore into the asphalt and looked horrible. But we actually love the look of it and it will compliment the style of house we are looki...

That's great Tribe! That's the way the world should be. Leaving houses and cars unlocked and then not having to worry about crime...if only that was everywhere. I bet you're going to love the country life!

We are keen for an asphalt driveway on a new build we are hoping to commence soon (with concrete edging). But we are concerned how this would look in 1, 5, 10 years time.... We love the look (and the price) but if there is issues using asphalt, we will just fork out more money for exposed aggregate....

Sparrow, here is a close up of our kitchen splashback if that helps (seeing the grout). Herringbone is a great layout for splashbacks and tiling. https://forum.homeone.com.au/u/28620_1524280468.jpg

Hey Sparrow We have a marble splashback in our current house in the kitchen (in a herringbone formation). It honestly looks awesome. My vote is for that one too. Here is a picture which shows you what it looks like with grout: https://forum.homeone.com.au/u/28620_1524091582.jpg

I've never had tank water. Do you think I'll need a tank on a 1 acre lot? We have town water to the land. It's around $10,000 for an underground 35000L tank...I'd rather spend that money elsewhere if I don't need it. HSTP I definitely need. Very exciting for you Tribe7....can't wait to follow your ...
