I am agreed with you all; so far (we haven't signed the building contract yet !!) our CSO has been treating us nicely, returning our calls. but in the bottom of my heart I still hesitate a bit after reading threads about S in H1. hopefully it remains the same in future as it is with our CSO. thanks ...

We will be signing our building contract with S in next week, but after reading many post on H1 we are in big dilemma should we give it a miss or just be extra conscious at every step after we sign the contract. just got of the phone with Sales person, according to him as a builder they are getting land from other land devloper, he can only get unconditional land contract for us to sign. I am really confused !!

Sierra, Thanks for sheding light on it; I will get in touch with a lawyer - first thing tomorrow. Even I was suprised but sales person kept insisted that he can't accomodate "subject to finance" in our land contract. Cheers

We are getting land + house package, asked to sign contract ( without subject to finance clause in ) and 10 % deposit. So we are bit concern about it? Has any one sign a land contract without subject to finance? Experts please advice. Thanks, Zeon
