There is an obvious inconsistency between the engineering design & building permit vs the contract documents which will have to be corrected. In terms of cost this site has a natural bias towards screw piers but does have an estimator between the options https://www.idealfoundations.com.au/scre...

Hi All, I'm wondering if there is anyone here who has used a building expert (not lawyers!) to review contract documents prior to signing? If so, would you mind sharing who you used and did you find them of any use? I'm in Victoria BTW. Thanks

I'm currently at tender stage of a KDRB project with one of the volume builders in Melbourne. I have two charges in my tender that I believe the builder's pricing team has made an incorrect assessment for my site. This equates to be about $10k. 1. As per the overhead power lines OH & S report, a...

When considering a home valued at $500 000.00, and subsequently adding a timber floor of approximately $20 000.00 in value, the...

Thanks Guys! I read my contract and it does say 'Rheem/ Vulcan 160 litre Loline gas boosted 51116002 solar HWS including one roof collector and ground mounted tank' We are only two so I guess it should be enough for now. Does anyone know if I could add extra panels later on and how much it might cost?
