It has been ages since I have been on here ... we've been here nearly two years and still love it. No major issues ... there are heaps of thing I would have done differently, but my husband is a stick in the mud and won't allow me to build again ... Lol. Maybe one day. :P

Thanks all ... this was all sorted last year. The bigger pipes were dropped below ground level like the rest of the house. There is a rubber ring/seal around the downpipe where it goes into the bigger pipe to seal it. We are on very crappy soil and I was advised the downpipes are completed like this...

We've a few cavity sliders and none of them run smoothly (worse after rain), the toilet in utility and ensuite don't/can't be locked, main toilet often comes off track and occupants can't get out (not great for children), media room doors only meet properly if one door is pulled out of the cavity co...

We have the same front door, stained and we then have a Crimsafe security screen as well. We ended up getting the screen the same colour as the window frames (dark anotec grey). Downside with the width is we need a bar across the middle to prevent bowing (all brands that quoted said the same thing)....

Unfortunately I wasn't given the chance to clean the double hung windows before the full security screens were installed. Can you pull the windows out to clean like sliders? We don't have any corner cupboards at all ... I don't like corner cupboards .. lol.
