So I just found out from our building company that our house will not be completed until about April/May 2015 - 22 months from the date we signed the contract and 12months after siteworks were completed. I just want to cry now that I have added up how much my mortgage is going to cost me for another...

Hi There, I"m new to your thread. We have been having a terrible time with Commodore Homes. Signed contract in July 2013 (titles in July too) and still only have a slab. We have had a slab for 11 weeks now and they tell us they cant find a brickie!!!!

They do have to do it ,it is part of your contract and although the contract doesn't specify the dollar amount of the landscaping package it says that you will be provided with lawn, reticulation and water wise garden beds. I would call consumer protection.
