Thinking of reno our bathroom. It's only 6 years old but in bad condition as it has been rent out before we purchased it. the base structure looks good, tiles seems fine on the floor and the wall. we want to replace the toilet, the bath and the vanity. You are right Karra. That's why I'm looking at who can do this type of work and how much it will cost so I can compare. We can only afford caeser stone if we getting brand new benchtop. But the granite benchtiop we have now seems really good. Ahhhh, hard decision.... ::surprise::

Do you need to change the shape of the top? I thought you were going to add some cutouts for stove and sink, is that all? If so, the stove and sink flanges will cover the cutout, then you just need the top buffed. Tell me more Plz. No change to the shape. I only want to make the existing sink area ...

Why not just reface the cabs What does reface cabs include? Will you still get a whole new kitchen? Or do you have to keep the same setup as if you have cabinets now you can not get drawers. We want some design where we can fit more things in the kitchen as it is pretty small.

Nope, it wont affect the benchtop :D But placement of the sink might affect where you put the draws. And aslong as your cooktop and sink are the same size as the old ones, or bigger  Good point, Hope the new sink we bought is not smaller.....

We will keep the same size for the kitchen. So overall there're only two things on the bentch, cooktop and the sink. The cooktop is the regular 600m one , the sink might be a bit diff in size.I suppose I just have to talk to the stonemason. We want to change the cabinets under the benchtop into draw...

We were in exactly the same position ourselves 3 months ago. In our experience its true, the flat pak option comes in standard sizes, and the 'fit' isn't exactly close, gaps, gaps, gaps. If you want a little quality, the flat pak is not the way to go. On the other hand, if its a quick reno and sell...
