We built with * and everything went well. I also asked a lot of questions when we started building and found that that there is always someone who doesnt like a particular builder and wouldnt recommend them. From cheap builders right up to expensive builders, it doesnt matter. Ask lots of questions,...

I also tried to find a colour chart. If you go to solver they have some available. Apparently they dont have the colour cards for you to take like the other places. They have a pack of them which they lend you but you have to bring it back...

I think I'll leave the door off center and allow for a window to go on the side with the larger wall face...plus some creative garden design. Thanks for the input! :)

Yeah I think they look great. The door doesnt actually open, just unlocks, like car doors. Keep the remote in the car or on the keyring and with the press of a button the door is locked (or unlocked). Easy. They come in 4 different handle/knob styles and 3 different finishes. Im thinking of getting ...

Thats a possibility. Currently Its just one double door. Would a larger door be too large and take some of the focus away from the other parts of the front of the house?

Yeah I was thinking of putting some sort of plant or something infront of the larger wall. I was planning on putting as much in there as possible. Im not really keen on getting a shed in the backyard, so I think I'd probably need the 1.5m....but I do think the centered door would look better.

Hi, I am building a house and have an additonal 1.5m added to the width of the double garage (to accomodate for the back verandah). I now have the option of centering the garage door, or keeping it off center so that I will maintain the additional 1.5m for storage space. I think the addtional storag...

Hi, I am building a home and have been interested in the Lockwood Nexion Keyless Entry Lockset for the front door handle. It uses the same technolgy as automotive keyless entry, just push the button and the door unlocks...and it still has a keyhole if the battery dies. Does anyone have any experienc...

I just talked to synergy and they said it will cost $240 to get a new three phase connection. It would be $540 if I was upgrading an exisiting single phase to three phase connection. I think I'll go with three phase for possible future needs.

Hi, I am about to start building a house in Perth, and I needed to set up a new electrical account. While setting up the account I was asked if I wanted the normal single phase or did I want to pay extra to set up a triple phase? (not sure if my terminology is correct there). Apparently the later is...

Hi, We are also building with * and getting splashbacks in the laundry and kitchen. I'm looking forward to not having to clean the grout between the tiles :) Most, if not all the * Display Homes around the place have glass splashbacks in the laundry.

As I go throught the building process I will post some data up on the your site about the experience...So far it has been pretty good. Got the pre-start pack the other day. Ah ok, thats good then. I was worried that the builders range might not be as good as some of the other more commonly known builders. We are building the Alberta home, I think its like an alternative design to the Mulgrave and Madiera home. We really liked the floorplan of the **, and you seem to ge...
