Not sure if this is the right forum - but worth a shot! Can anyone advise on how to troubleshoot fixing a leaking washing machine? Our hot water tap leaks - if the tap is not turned off after the initial fill the tub will leak from underneath. I've opened up the lid mid-wash and can see the stream o...

I am limited in that i need to keep the external handle (a gold knob) on the outside, however internally am looking to change to a chrome lever. okay i sought a second opinion and have been quoted on a Fujitsu system, which is obviously cheaper. However the specs are different - and i'm wondering now if the Fujitsu is under capacity - or is actually more suited to my size - can anyone offer advice? New quote: Brand: Fujitsu Bedroom: 2.7kW AS...

There's either a mix up with unit numbers or things are not right... FTXS35JVMA is supposedly not compatible with multi-split systems... you need a FTXS35GVMA... And FTXS71GVMA is obsolete and has been replaced with FTXS71JVMA... Hi IceMan, thanks for the response. You are right i've just checked t...

hi mudmap - no it is not a newly poured slab. Building is 10 years old. We're on the first floor, we just ripped up the carpets, and the slab was in good condition. Flooring expert layed direct onto slab. Guess i should've got my spirit level out before we commenced....

Thanks borg - yeah logic tends to lead me to belive that the floor may have not been level there and hence the drummyness. That said - to the untrained eye the floor was level. And my installer did not pick this up.... With that all said and done- is there any method to fix this now that installatio...

Hi All, I had my floating floors installed yesterday -and they look awesome! (Embelton - Spotted Gum with Premium Quiet Step underlay). My only gripe i have is that there is an approx 1 sq metre area that is drummy and hollow sounding - and has a springy feel to it. This unfortunately happens to be ...

Good Point - it is more pronounced under lighting - i've got standard bulbs in place which will change to tracklights... however even with sunlight the blue is the first colour that comes to mind.....as opposed to the feel of Clean white.

Hi All, Well i've made a mistake with my colour selection. The look we are after is a clean white to accentuate our spotted gum floorboards. After testing various shades of white with the following sample pots: - Lexicon 1/4 - Pepulum - Whisper White - White on White We decided to go with White on W...

Hi All, Am currently getting my unit layed with floorboards and have had tiles lifted in my kitchen. The floor layer has removed all tiles in preperation, but in doing so has nicked and dented the base of 6 of my 13 kitchen cupboard doors. It is quite noticeable and I'm quite annoyed. In hindsight I...

Hi everyone, Went searching today to find a floating floorboard product for my unit. Initally saw Boral Silkwood and Premium ReadyFlor. But was won over by a product called Embelton. It comes with a slight bevel which distinguishes each 'floorboard'. However i've not seen it in many places - nor doe...
