Has anyone here laid Engineered Spotted Gum? I'm concerned that the showroom samples I've seen don't appear to have the same variation and character as the solid, yet the sales staff are confident that it's the same when laid. I've sold my wife on spotted gum on the strength of the Masterchef floor....
