We have similar feedback as Jess - a few hiccups along the way, but are really happy with the overall finished product. Would probably build with them again. As I started this thread initially I imagine that you may be having some similar concerns/ questions that we had. All I can say is that we fou...

I love both of those colours. We actually ended up going with Candlebark which is a bit like Oyster Linen for our main wall colour and our skirtings and architraves were natuarl white. The white duck is also lovely. The display home that we looked at had that colour for the main walls. Can I ask whe...

The skirting and architraves are just the plain square, i'm not sure exactly what they're called but they're completely plain (no groove detail) with a slight aris on the edges. I can help you out there coz we got the same ones. ::wink:: They are called a single bevel arch or splayed depending on w...

I dont know heaps about ducted air-con (even though we got it!!) but I was under the impression that it costs the same whether you do it while building or after handover. I am not sure what you were talking about with droppers though so not sure if what I said above is helpful or not ::lol::

I can only tell you what we were told for our water tanks. I guess it would vary from company to company. The company that we were using to do our tanks told us that they would call us if they needed to use the rock breaker and clear that with us first before they would go ahead. I might add, we did...

Hey, We were really concerned about this too. Fortunately rock excavation was included for us when they were cutting the house pad, but we also had 2 big in ground concrete tanks where it was not included. Just to give you an idea, the tank company was going to charge us $290 per hour to use the roc...

Looks beautiful Beck. You have a good eye for making those little touches look nice. ::lol:: I love the Dulux linseed too. We actually considered having all of our walls painted that colour, but we went two shades lighter with a colour called Candlebark. I think it looks great with our natural white...

That is bizarre! I would seriously consider hiring a company to do a professional inspection before you pay the framing stage draw down. It may cause you delays but at least you will be reassured that your house is stable and safe! I would not be happy either. I have never seen anything like it! Goo...

Our house is a long ranch style and it would have looked a bit weird if we increased the roof pitch because our house has 28m facing the front. There is already so much roof on display and might have looked out of proportion if there was more! Luckily it wasn't part of our estate covenant. I think t...

Hey Jess - everyone on keeps saying to me 'Oh, must be so dissappointed that you can't move in before Christmas (with really sad look on their face)'. Hehehehehe    Renee, you made me laugh when I read your post because it reminded me of trying to do our tile selections. My partner and I spent hours at Beaumonts trying to choose and ended up having a massive arguement in the store. Soooooooo embarrassing. I swear we almost broke up ...
