down lights - transformers, how long do they last?General Discussion

brand new smoke detector faulty??Safer Living

we have just settled on on new house and began moving things in over the weekend, whilst moving stuff in the smoke detector went off 4 times and we had to fan a piece of cardboard each time to stop it. The smoke alarm is hardwired and also has a backup battery. Why would it be going off all the time...

Evap Cooler - which one should i installHeating, Cooling & Insulation

We have just built a double storey house and need to install an evap cooling system. Total living area is abour 20sq, with upstairs about 9.8sq. We are looking at about 5 ducts and tossing up between Braemar LCB450 or Brivis Profiler P43. Not sure what to look for and any advice or suggestions would...
