PD charges a lot for everything, but under-deliver in terms of quality. If I may share some advice based on experience, please do consider shopping around for another builder. They're flooded with orders this year and can't keep up the high-quality anymore. Probably not worth your money. You're mor...

I don't think it could all be a boredom thing - why would one dog be bored and not the other if they have the same lifestyle? We also got money back but for our carpet deposit paid to Macey's. We applied for this nearly 6 months after we paid and 5 months after they went bankrupt. This is something that applies to all purchases on a credit card. Our money was refunded within two weeks.

We did the frame inspection ad i think it was worth doing as there were many things that were picked up that would not have been seen after plaster was completed. If you email Darbecca they will send you a cost of the inspections, let him know you are a member of the forum. The total cost for all 3 ...

We had Darbecca come and do our frame / pre-plaster / final inspections and i cannot rate them highly enough. Even our SS commented on how thorough d was and i am certain that my house would not be the same high standard if it had not been for this. We got a brickie who new D and the job was 'perfec...

Maybe they have changed thing, but the corner blocks require the 'special fencing' and in our part of the estate and most place i have seen around it has the 3 black rungs on top, this is the fencing that costs the most. We found that this colour was also not a standard colour but a special order. I...

jcjuice - we were luck we got all our fencing and front landscaping included in the price of our block. Just so you knowe, the corner decorative fencing is a cost of $175 per m.....this i know becasue we paid for some extra fencing. The supplier also charges like a wounded bull for the gates as well...

Just got a reply from Internode to my request to get naked ADSL2+ , they said they can only provide regular ADSL service. Which means there are port left on Telstra's DSLAM? | this is qhat i was told by a couple of sales people, until i asked them to check further into it and got nowwhere... I hope...

well i have checked out telstra / iprimus / optus / virgin and a firend who works in the internet industry and all say the smae thing.... ' NO ROOM AT THE EXCHANGE' and apparently this is not likely to change for sometime.... Mobile boradband ios shoking and does not connect...but at least i can go ...

Just a word of warning for all moving into Criagieburn and want ADSL....there are no lines available at the exchange and you can not have it....there is also no date of when we might be able to get it.... So for now i am chasing up mobile broadband and hope that i might get somewhee with this. Hope ...
