Hi, I have contacted 9 concreters for some quotes in Hillside, Melbourne. So far none have showed up and when I call later it goes to message bank. I have called nearby suburbs ads that say the do small jobs but still they do not bother to turn up or call to say that they will be late or cannot make...

Well we decided to go with Sydenham Concreting as all other concreters never bothered to turn up. I can highly recommend them. They were fantastic and our exposed aggregate came up terrific. Their rates were reasonable and they were very helpful with their ideas and suggestions. Thoroughly recommend...

Hi, Our is still going along well. We just found out that the first walkthrough will be in 2 weeks so not much longer to go. We havent really had any dramas. They started construction at the start of march so hasnt taken them that long at all.

Our sites costs were 6.7k for H class slab with 400mm cut and 400mm fill. Our block is 800sqm. I think H class slab is only included when if you block is under 650sqm and you have a shorter setback... We go into Rivergum tomorrow to pick out the colors and sign the contracts. Well got signatures and "no-objection" from neighbours last night and took it to council this morning. Council say that it can take up to 3 weeks and that we have supplied them with quite a bit of information. They will send out a surveyor and advise us ASAP. I hope this does drag out too long. Well Building surveyor requires stamped plans which can only be obtained from council. Even though council agrees that house on corner should be ignored it still needs dispensation.
