Apparently it's only suited to use with a 4 burner, if I wanted a bigger BBQ then I had to upgrade the size of the line, for extra $$$s (Can't help with the price of the upgrade, 4 burners are enough for me so didn't bother asking) Re: gas point to alfresco price 12Apr 12, 2009 2:54 pm We got two additional gas points inside (for gas heater) and one to alfresco for $550. cheers Building in remote, regional Vic We have roof, frame, walls, plumbing, electrical....but no bricks! What builder or tradie is ever going to charge cost price of materials?? If they did that they wouldn't be inbusiness for very long at all. There always has to be a margin, it's just how big that margin is and how much you are willing to pay for their quality of service. It's 7m from the next nearest point (the kitchen) that they work from. No idea why so expensive though. But if I tried getting gas connected later on I'd be paying close to $1k so its not a biggie really. I'm sure the moment we go down the building path we all have a target on our back "rip me off pls". It just a matter of how much we are prepare to pay (for things that can't be done latter).
