I LOVE what you have done and you are amazing having dug all those trenches all by your lonesome!!! With kids in the background. I don't know how you did it all. As for a screening plant I know we had some pittosporums (silver sheen?) in a rental we lived in a few years back which were great for screening. There is always the "neighbours be gone" lillypillies that grow fast... Your retaining walls are fab as are your paving efforts! I wish I had your skill. I have some mango seedlings at the moment and may have a fig tree or two soon if I can get them to you (if you want them!) Re: Newcastle landscape journey 60Mar 16, 2017 8:32 am Hey thanks mate we don't eat much mango so i think it would be wasted on us. My mum is propagating like mad and brings a car load of little plants she's grown from cuttings each visit. God love her We've gotten to a point where we're waiting for the patio roof before we do more. Also tossing us putting a pool in, just negotiating between us when it happens. I want to extend the loan and do it now but hubby wants to wait a year or two and save. I just don't want to have to re-do any landscaping later which would be the case if we wait. Our patio roof is here... technically Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Certifier stalled us - as we lowered the roof and changed the small gable to skillion the certifier refused to sign it without a re-application to council-despite it being same footprint and less impact on neighbours. Load of cr@p but we did it. Waiting on council to tick off the modified design before builder can erect it. You should check your detail drawings, it may show downpipe within brick pier. 14 14243 Hmmm, I have checked your past posts and it seems that you are in NSW, not WA as I had thought. It pays to show your State in your avatar. Retaining wall regulations… 5 7960 Hi, you've probably already resolved this, however, Commbank will probably pay the funds to you after you send evidence the work is done regardless the change in the quotes. 1 35548 |
