Browse Forums DIY, Home Maintenance & Repair 1 Dec 07, 2016 12:37 pm Hi everyone, Found a lot of info about best ways to install/uninstall toilets or tile around vs tile under, but this is a bit of a weird one.... Had a new toilet put in today in one of the rooms we WEREN'T wanting to re-tile (New tiles in here would mean two other rooms as it all flows through) Problem: Whoever did it last just cemented the old bowl down and tiled around it, not all the way under it. These new back to wall style toilets are way bigger than the old one being removed, but because they are way back against the wall, it hasnt covered up the entire footprint and left a big hole at the front. Have attached a photo, just looking for options, because the best one I have right now is try to find a couple of tiles that match (thats already hard!) and then cut them to fit around the new bowl. Any takers? -Adam you need a fridgie to answer but I would think you vac the whole system then add gas if you have a leak, unless it is new install with the gas already loaded, in that case… 1 4014 Old Home Restoration / Renovation Hi, just discovered all these junks left behind under the floor. Could any of these be asbestos? Best to leave as it is or clean up?
