The wooden slats on the portico were put up, benchtops were put on, shower screens and wardrobe doors installed. Appliances are sitting in the shed waiting to be installed! I contacted CSO who said they would credit that invoice and re-issue when frames were completed and they had received notification from SS. Frames have been finished for over a week now and no new invoice. Anyone had this happen before? I'm concerned frame and exterior invoices are going to come in very close together (banks problem, not mine ). Just curious to know if this has happened to anyone else? Frames have been finished for over a week now and no new invoice. Anyone had this happen before? I'm concerned frame and exterior invoices are going to come in very close together (banks problem, not mine ). Just curious to know if this has happened to anyone else? Yep! That exact same scenario happened to me and it was only because I stupidly alerted them to it that they invoiced me! You won't be penalised as they haven't re-issued the invoice so if it was me, in hindsight, i would be letting it go! C U S T O M. C O R A L. Found out our plans were approved by council almost 2 weeks ago. On Monday after ringing to find out what's going on, I was told out plans were back with Coral certifiers and should have ACC issued that afternoon. 2 more days of phone calls to be left with a message that they have only just received the plans back from council today and will take a few more days for process I g etc. All this is now 1 week after we were meant to have our start date by, and when I ask whether they intend charging us extra, they can't answer!! How long it it take others between getting council approval and a start date? Re: Coral Homes general build thread 4394Jun 08, 2016 6:36 pm The next day for us, Bec's Coral, it was issued for a date 19 days away. I should add that we are paying cash so there is no to and fro to a bank to take up extra time.
Re: Coral Homes general build thread 4395Jun 08, 2016 6:39 pm Wow it was a week for their internal approvals to give the ok for me, after council was approved when i got my start date Avoca 25 in Gainsborough Greens Gold Coast viewtopic.php?f=31&t=81406 Re: Coral Homes general build thread 4396Jun 08, 2016 6:40 pm We were pretty close to it as well Bec! I also just wanted to say to keep your chin up, once you get a start date, the build will begin and this will be a long distant memory! Take it from me who during Head Office stage lodged a formal complaint it got that bad! Now I couldn't be happier or recommend coral enough! Our build has made up for it tenfold! As for paying extra, they should be ok without since it's not your fault. Fingers crossed your start date is issued soon and try not to let it dishearten you. Re: Coral Homes general build thread 4398Jun 08, 2016 8:08 pm That happened to us we were ment to have our final start date a week and a half ago and it's been a week since our start date was lodged we haven't been told if we have to pay or not and if they say we have to I won't I couldn't get in contact with anyone to give them what they needed so it's not our fault Re: Coral Homes general build thread 4399Jun 10, 2016 6:04 pm We got the great news of a start date this afternoon for 30/6, 20 days away. So excited for things to finally get started. Re: Coral Homes general build thread 4400Jun 10, 2016 6:35 pm See, that was nice and quick, Becs Coral. Yay, you're on your way. You should check your detail drawings, it may show downpipe within brick pier. 14 14674 Ask the council if there is a chance of getting build over easement exemption. Sometimes easements are unused and 24cm is not all that much. Good luck. And yes any builder… 2 15045 Hi so sorry for the late reply.
