We're thinking laminated floorboards! Which should I go for? What are the pros and cons? We still have time to change this Re: Boutique Homes 1255Jun 16, 2015 10:23 am [quote="tinaC"]I've just finished with the colour room selections and we chose cat 2 tiles but now we're having second thoughts! I personally didn't like the range of floorboards they offered but they do have awesome tiles however the price increases dramatically when you choose a tile that is not in the boutique range. Just to add my 2c to the discussion above, we were also informed we couldn't put them in. We haven't pushed the point. Our title has been pushed back so we'll revisit again later in the year. We have order non-standard tiles in our Living/Dining/Kitchen area and in the Ensuite. We were extremely set on floorboards after checking out the showroom at the Boutique offices but was blown away by the options at Hynes and decided to run with a couple of their options. Boutique just need the item numbers. And yes, cost did add up a bit more but our PSC quoted us at a Cat 3-ish equivalent. There are some options there that we got quoted 10k for just our L/D/K area but admittedly they were extravagant options. We're building with Boutique and chose a custom tile from Hynes - added over 10K to the price to use those tiles in the L/D/K and bathrooms/laundry. We've only had one bathroom tiled so far, and we love the result - wouldn't change a thing. Re: Boutique Homes 1259Jun 17, 2015 8:17 pm Hi guys, quick question. We are just at lockup phase and our block is really messy and full of rubish. I don't want to complain, but my wife and I think it is really bad. How is everyone's experience with site cleanliness? 10 16362 I would never build with Fowler homes. I built with them in 2021 and till date maintenance issues are pending.
