I was totally amazed with awe when I first walked in the 3D file cat has produced. I do feel that I was in the actual room and space with every images. She has done absolutely amazing work as if she was in my head all furniture are spot on. That dinning table with 8 seats is exactly what I have in mind. I will be sitting at the table facing towards lounge so I can see beautiful garden outside while I do arts and crafts. (Just dreaming - does't cost money to dream) I have the exact IKEA's dinning table in the outdoor dinning area. Perfect Always loved the cane lounges, the very first time when I first came accross with three seater cane lounge was when my parents bought they very first house.... the previously owner has left the cane lounge in the outdoor room. I will loves to have the same lounge again....if I can find it. In the upstairs lounge room, the lay out of two lounges, TV and coffee table are exactly how I would have place. ( Cat...you were reading my mind) I now have updated 3D drawing from Cat....more amazing photos to come :x]:x] Build Thread : viewtopic.php?f=31&t=81624 Re: KDR Sekisui House - St George 387Feb 07, 2017 9:26 am I know.... They are really fun to fly around. I wasn't sure what to do with the carvings, I spaced them like that to then put a table in, but forgot... And yes, how lovely is that painting! We can thank google My parents had a cane lounge setting too. They had it when they got married and meant to replace it, instead they kept it and just reupholstered it over the years. Reminds me of being a kid Re: KDR Sekisui House - St George 389Feb 07, 2017 9:07 pm What's going on the wall? Just looking a bit bare ? Re: KDR Sekisui House - St George 390Feb 07, 2017 9:08 pm I will be visiting second hand shops at Newtown for an old cane lounge. Those places have a lot of nice things... old world charms. I think it's a matter of time but intestine nonetheless. Also they were telling me that the Sekisui management were so strict with tolerance that it was no wonder they weren't making money! I saw a Burbank ute outside yesterday so seems like the transition is on. (wasn't BB maybe he was your SS?) Our SS (CB) drive Burbank ute and he is managing around 16 houses in this area. When did Burbank started on your neighbour house. They are still at frame stage. a bit slow ...I'm worried my build will be verrrry slow. Build Thread : viewtopic.php?f=31&t=81624 Re: KDR Sekisui House - St George 396Feb 10, 2017 1:15 pm shazaw We have problem with pipes. On our storm water plan the pipe starting from the garage grated drain should be 150mm wide all the way to the detention pit. Pipe size is clearly shown 150mm on the storm water plan as per council request but after checking back photos all pipes look same size. I have already called SS to recheck. Will be more delay if they have to redo pipes. As I have mention earlier regarding the storm water pipe size. The correct pipe size should be 150mm in diameter as requested by George River's council ......AND the plumber has put in 100mm diameter pipe size, luckily that we have photos as proof. This morning we texted again to SS to check if correct pipe size are in place. The good news is the plumber will be back tomorrow to replace correct pipe. I will be there before 8 am with my measuring tape to make sure that pipe is 150mm diameter. At the same time praying that ... they are not going to damage the other pipes in the process. I do kick at myself for not picking this up at the time when they were laying pipes. All in all very glad they did not dispute or hide and changing to the correct pipe size. Build Thread : viewtopic.php?f=31&t=81624 Re: KDR Sekisui House - St George 398Feb 10, 2017 4:25 pm cat_dunc Yeah absolutely. So amazing you even picked it up at all as from what I've seen on some other jobs they come back and cover them pretty quickly. Great work keeping on top of it! Thanks cat, I was worried that they may not change to correct pipes size and let it pass. All storm water pipes and sewer pipes are already cover up after pipes were laid. They will have to dig again. This was one of the major design changed for storm water layout which our council demanded on the Modification DA that the pipe starting from the garage grated drain must be 150mm diameter to the detention pit So from our point of view the correct size of pipe must be implemented by plumber.... The reason why the council demanded for 150mm larger size drain is prevent over flow as the rain water from the street and our drive way flow down towards garage and neighbouring. our Hydraulic Engineer required to calculate once in 100 years rain storm hence the larger pipe to accommodate excess rain water to our detention pit which join to neighbour's detention pit (which has the 150mm pipe size to the Sydney's drain channel - three houses away). Tomorrow I will be watching like a hawk. Build Thread : viewtopic.php?f=31&t=81624 Re: KDR Sekisui House - St George 399Feb 10, 2017 9:05 pm Changes keeps on coming. First the door and window frames supplier changed. Secondly roof tiles supplier changed. Got our roof tiles complimentary upgrade. Now we got a call from colour consultant informing CHANGE OF SUPPLIER for all bathroom's vanity unit top and mainly kitchen's island bench top / cook top . Should I say "yay" Of course I do wanted "them" to change supplier for kitchen bench top as I was not quite happy with my current choice of colour stone "Osprey" as i have one ...right here where I live. Oh man the one I have now sure gets dirty easily. The time of great opportunity open doors to change colour again with out paying $1000 admin fees. YEE HA !!!! Ok the new supplier is SILESTONE, we have an appointment on 14 Feb to reselect stone benchtop. Consultant has selected couple of colours for us to compare from our previous Caesarstone selection. I think I will have to wisely use my weekend and check out Silestone's colours.
