I wonder why your pipes are coloured and ours arent. Do you have any close ups of the pipe arrangements in the bathroom/toilet and kitchen/laundry? I wonder if ours are the same or not...? We couldn't work out what all of ours were for. Re: Our first home - Sekisui Clareville - The next chapter! 143Jul 13, 2015 8:17 pm Hmm strange. Unfortunately we didn't get any close ups. Probably should've looked closer. We thought maybe blue were for downpipes but only because of the positioning. All the inside ones were orange..i think. Re: Our first home - Sekisui Clareville - The next chapter! 145Jul 27, 2015 6:50 pm No progress on our block for about a week and a half. Piers scheduled for tomorrow though so hopefully that gets the ball rolling again. Re: Our first home - Sekisui Clareville - The next chapter! 146Aug 01, 2015 4:06 pm Slab is scheduled for mid week We also had our tile appointment which wasn't as stressful as we expected! Same for the bathroom except the bath will be in the darker tile and the two walls of the shower the white tile. Hopefully all blends nicely with the sublime teak vanity. We didn't increase the heights above the standard. Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ We went with a similar floor tile in the laundry but it has a slightly warmer grey tone. This is them both side by side: Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Laundry on the left, bathrooms on the right. Re: Our first home - Sekisui Clareville - The next chapter! 147Aug 01, 2015 4:12 pm I'm pretty sure we've picked the same floor tile Our build: http://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?t=70584 Re: Our first home - Sekisui Clareville - The next chapter! 149Aug 04, 2015 11:56 pm Lovely selections kate. The teak will look beautiful with those colours. Are you doing your benches and cupboards in the woodgrain? Are you doing your benches and cupboards in the woodgrain? Hoping it turns out as good as I'm imagining! Just the bathroom and en suite vanity in the sublime teak. The tops will be white. Re: Our first home - Sekisui Clareville - Slabbed!!! 154Aug 14, 2015 3:17 pm Hi katetodd, I'm new to homeone and will be following your thread. Pretty exciting on the slab! Yey! Re: Our first home - Sekisui Clareville - Slabbed!!! 155Aug 16, 2015 3:52 pm Wow thats a massive slab!! Congrats! Oh I'm loving seeing another of the same house get built and seeing the changes we each made to personalise them. What are your plans for out the back? The house being built 2 doors down from us is also a Clareville! Love it! We're going to build another outdoor area out the back. In hindsight we should've just added it to our contract. Never mind. Maybe one day a pool? In the very, very distant future! I'd love a fire pit and a hammock too. I spend too much time on Pinterest... The frame went up on Tuesday. Roof trusses should be finished next week and bricks delivered Thursday. I'm a little nervous about the brick colour i just want to see the batch and make sure it looks similar to our sample. I saw trusses as well so they should all be ready to install shortly. What brick have you chosen? Did you went and choose the batches yourself? I've read on other threads that some have went and selected their own batches of bricks. Not sure though if that's always the case. Re: Our first home - Sekisui Clareville - Slabbed!!! 158Aug 21, 2015 11:15 pm Did they finish the trusses and have bricks been delivered? Have they put the roof on? Our build: http://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?t=70584 Re: Our first home - Sekisui Clareville - Slabbed!!! 159Aug 22, 2015 2:49 pm The bricks were delivered yesterday and we are really shocked/disappointed by the batch. Not even sure it is the correct brick but the paperwork says Austral Engage. This is the sample we have of Austral Engage and the sample wall at Beresfield http://i1374.photobucket.com/albums/ag440/KateHToddH/IMG_1232_zps10afd5a4.jpg http://i1374.photobucket.com/albums/ag440/KateHToddH/IMG_1291_zpsff84e54e.jpg This is the brick that has been delivered We were told we could not choose our own batch. The brick was something i was worried about due to variations and now i know why! Although all my nightmares were about them turning out too orange and now they're on the opposite end of the scale! Re: Our first home - Sekisui Clareville - Austral Engage?? 160Aug 22, 2015 2:51 pm Also looks like the roof trusses may be finished. Windows and doors are in. No word on roof as yet.
