Unfortunately we don't have any photo's nor have we seen it on a wall! A bit scary but we're hoping it's the tone of grey we are after! If not it's just paint. We found the colours we had to choose from were very limited. Re: Our first home - Sekisui Clareville - Land Registered!!! 103Mar 18, 2015 5:13 pm Yes we are also finding that. I will probably grab a sample pot and paint some plaster board I will post pics when I have done so if you like. My bank account is looking very poorly after that withdrawal! In other news, we've found our letterbox The Pakman Parcel Box. We couldn't decide on which colour. Will probably end up going with the white and the sloped roof top option (first design). Exciting indeed! Re: Our first home - Sekisui Clareville - Land Registered!!! 111Apr 12, 2015 6:44 pm We visited our block today while we were out that way. We had previously asked Mirvac to tidy our block as there was concrete and reo spread across the block and in the back corner. The grass was quite high in the back corner and we hadn't been able to go right to the back until today. We discovered that under all that grass was a pesky drain which was not on any of our plans. Is this normal? Should it not be on the final registered plans? We were under the assumption our block had nothing on it and we're a bit disheartened. My pool was going to go there haha if i ever win the Lotto! You will definitely need to check/ask if there's an easement running through your yard. Easements mean you can't build anything within it and are usually a few meters wide. Re: Our first home - Sekisui Clareville - Question 113Apr 12, 2015 7:57 pm Re: Our first home - Sekisui Clareville - Question 114Apr 12, 2015 8:17 pm Could just be drainage for your lot then! Which is pretty nice, I wish we had our own drain as our yard gets super soggy. It will drain toward the stormwater which is at the lowest end of your yard. Doesn't say where yours is on that. AA just stops on that plan? So either the levels change there or it wasn't drawn properly? But yeah, just asking will tell you what you want to know Re: Our first home - Sekisui Clareville - Question 115Apr 12, 2015 8:32 pm yeah it just looks like drainage to me? Re: Our first home - Sekisui Clareville - Question 116May 14, 2015 8:28 pm Evening everyone! I've been a little M.I.A lately!
The drain was removed. The land developer didn't even know it was there and it wasn't really useful. However they cut the pipe just in our boundary so if we need to we can connect back up. They also cleaned up our block which was great. Although a Peppa Pig ball had found a new home in the back corner Sekisui advised they were posting off our plans to council on Monday 4th May and today advised the plans are currently with an assessing officer under assessment It is getting so close! I'm really happy with the communication between Sekisui and us since the start of of this journey and hope it continues throughout the build. Lovely to know what's going on! I've been catching up on everyone's builds, so much has been happening! Re: Our first home - Sekisui Clareville - Question 117May 15, 2015 8:17 am Yay sounds like there is movement! Re: Our first home - Sekisui Clareville - Question 118May 18, 2015 8:29 am Congratulations KateTodd. Looking forward to hearing more progress. Re: Our first home - Sekisui Clareville - DA Approval!! 119May 22, 2015 5:36 pm Consent received today! Super exciting Re: Our first home - Sekisui Clareville - DA Approval!! 120May 24, 2015 8:51 pm congrats on the consent letter! Soak wells and electrical run in happening this week! Summit has told me they will relocate the laundry plumbing after the walls are completed.
