Bathrooms and Laundry

I read the waterproofing standard. Just want clarify that: should we waterproof the entire bathroom floor or only inside the shower cubicle?
We are renovating the old house, the bathroom floor is timber not concrete.

I always water proof the entire floor of all my bathroom renovations and use buytnol membrane exclusively on all timber floors. Also pays if your having a tiled base to water proof over the screed as well so it remains dry.
I water proof the walls and skirting around entire room as well you can never water proof to much. Also make sure that you instal some type of water stop at the shower and the door also to prevent water tracking along the glue lines.

The entire bathroom floor should be done to be up to Australian Standards... see link below!
