Just drove past, and the render guys are there today starting on the front of the house.
Looks like renderer was available first. Has the roof plumber installed your gutters and downpipes since the photo ?

We are so keen to see how it looks with the boards and roof. Hopefully looks as good as we were thinking. How is the painting going just_a draftee ? Re: Building with MOMU at Brightwood (Baldivis) 47Mar 12, 2018 10:54 pm Always good when it comes together! Painting actually hasn't been that bad to be honest. I mean, I can think of a few ways I'd rather spend my days, but it is kind of therapeutic at the same time Find my build thread here: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?t=88694&f=31&p=1729530#p1729530 Re: Building with MOMU at Brightwood (Baldivis) 48Mar 12, 2018 11:11 pm Gutters on today, and we have found out where the downpipes are going... We didn't really want them on the front of the house over the bands that we have on the front elevation, which the wife asked for But the the water needs to go somewhere, so we have now downpipes over the banding, which got me to wonder how that looks painted. Nikki said we should paint the bands on the down pipe, but I am not sold. here is what we will have if nothing changes... We have juts been given a variation to sign, but are unsure what to do. firstly, they want to put a '60mm deep benchtop behind the free standing oven' (they are saying it is a construction requirement) We are concerned that its is going to look awkward especially with the metal upright 'splash back' thingy in front of the 60 mm bench Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ The Second is a change to the en-suite; 'Titled kickboard in ensuite to be recessed 200mm on the front and the side as per plan' I am not as concerned with this one (the wife dosn't like it one bit). Our CL did say that both were clarifications to the plans. Alternatively you could potentially reduce the entire benchtop / carcass depth to suit the oven. That may not work though with your sink being on that same benchtop. The recessed kick looks much better in my opinion as it makes the cupboards look a little more floating. It's not a structural requirement though, so if you don't want it, tell them you're happy with the standard 50mm recess.
