Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Oct 25, 2017 12:06 am Hello, Does anyone has a microwave provision in their kitchen island? If yes any issues with ventilation ? Whenever I read any microwave oven manuals, even for builtins type, it said the wall of the caninet cannot be sealed. However my builder has built the provision with no open ventilation on the walls of the provision, exactly just like a cabinet. Is this normal? If yes I can't put a microwave there whats the purpose having a provision there? Anyone can advise? Thanks heaps! Re: Help microwave provision dilemma! 2Oct 25, 2017 3:54 pm Not sure this is an issue - but I hate bending to oven - MW or convection. DW is bad enough. We put ours above the oven in a column. Re ventilation is there no allowance around the front (vents) and sides ?
