We used treated pine with no issues. This deck was at the front of our house so had all foot traffic of visitors entering and exiting the house for 6 years until we sold. We ran joists from the house out to the edge of the concrete (to obtain the right height) which were dynabolted into the concrete, then laid the decking boards across it. Just research all options and workout what is best for you.
