Time to get building 148Nov 02, 2017 4:21 pm Hi icat2000, I just read through you’re thread, what a mission you’ve had, but I actually like your newer plan more! I think the dining/living looks more spacious and has a nice flow. I’m close to contracts on our second house build and I’m actually downsizing our ensuite a bit this time. I hate cleaning and for the time we spend in there it’s just not worth it but that’s just my opinion. Good luck with the build I hope it’s all smooth sailing from here Re: Our First Home - Ballarat - New Plan!! 150Nov 02, 2017 7:24 pm Thanks for the tip about the doors. I ask them about it. I have to wait for engineering plans now and there is a bit of a backlog about three weeks. There is a couple of things left to do before we go to contract. But my consultant away so time they get back the engineering should be back too. I like the new plan too. It was the consultant suggestion. It one of their popular ones. I just want to get started now haha Sarah Re: Our First Home - Ballarat - New Plan!! 151Nov 02, 2017 7:28 pm Looks good, the only thing I would do is straighten that angled storage wall.... and higher ceilings if you can squeeze it in within valuation. My only concern is the bathroom window onto the alfresco... but I guess you can just get good window coverings. Re: Our First Home - Ballarat - New Plan!! 154Nov 03, 2017 5:54 am This plan is also awesome - look at that alfresco size - good luck with the built follow my build Arden homes Votivo 37 iin south east: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=88622 Re: Our First Home - Ballarat - New Plan!! 155Nov 03, 2017 6:06 am Thanks for feedback everyone. I think with the first plan I got caught it all the excitement of building a new house and added this and that and it got out of control. Got brought back to reality. Though it did cost us extra to get new plans, but this build contract is about 45k less than the original. I really like your new plan, and in some ways its an improvement on your last. Good luck with the bank... I'm sure you will hear good news So it looks like we finally have some movement on site! Definitely later than expected, but I'll take any progress at this point. I'll drop by over the weekend to get… 5 27713 Can you give advice on how to get missing certificates needed for a form 21?
