Awesome about dropping off owner supplied lights!! Your lego people are just so great they make my day!!! Re: Coral Homes Build SEQ - modified Grange 20 167Jul 27, 2017 7:15 am bribiebell Q: How many lego man does it take to change a light bulb? A: Four. One to change it and three to write the environmental-impact statement. Plus I think there could be a workcover case here!! https://www.homeone.com.au/member/bribiebell Ha! Yeah hopefully no workcover cases while they're really being installed. aloenyx yep 20 but that's the majority of my lights. I supplied all my downlights which is why it's so many. I think the only lights I didn't supply were the external wall lights at the front and one of the floodlights. Oh and some fluros in the garage. Awesome about dropping off owner supplied lights!! Your lego people are just so great they make my day!!! Thanks cb! Glad they make people laugh. Yeah painting started last week but I think the kitchen benchtop arrived so I was more excited to post about that. Painting is "finished" this week but there's some defects. They didn't fix the cracked render in the most obvious places, just sort of painted around it, so they'll be back. Re: Coral Homes Build SEQ - modified Grange 20 169Jul 30, 2017 3:09 pm How are things traveling klea? Any updates on kitchen bench tops? Any pics? Re: Coral Homes Build SEQ - modified Grange 20 170Jul 30, 2017 6:16 pm Nothing much happened this week HENRY. They just finished painting so not much to show. The next trade booked is electrician on Wednesday so I'll have some photos then. Benchtops have been in for a couple of weeks but covered in dust and a drop sheet. Re: Coral Homes Build SEQ - modified Grange 20 171Jul 31, 2017 8:54 pm That's great to hear painting is done! Not long to go now klea. Can't wait to see more pics! Re: Coral Homes Build SEQ - modified Grange 20 172Aug 02, 2017 8:03 am Week 11 new photos! No lego today. I mean the electricians are nice guys but they probably would've looked at me funny if I'd pulled out Lego and started playing with it.
Coral forgot to get the brickies to run some wiring for ac through the bricks which electrician told us, then while we were there he was already onto it lol! Your build has almost caught mine! Can you ask the tiler to regrout for you? Might be worth spending the extra few dollars now and not have to deal with the mess later. https://www.homeone.com.au/member/bribiebell Re: Coral Homes Build SEQ - modified Grange 20 174Aug 02, 2017 8:18 am bribiebell Your ss is amazing. And I can't get onto tilers directly. I'm thinking it shouldn't be as noticeable once the shower screen covers it. Re: Coral Homes Build SEQ - modified Grange 20 175Aug 02, 2017 8:23 am I agree once screens go in and you style your eye will no longer be attracted to it. https://www.homeone.com.au/member/bribiebell Re: Coral Homes Build SEQ - modified Grange 20 177Aug 02, 2017 8:55 am Actually a colleague recommended a product called grout perfect. The person that recommended it did it on their own house and said it was quite simple. It's applied with the toothbrush. We spent close to 2 years in a process with TA. It was horrible..... we got to tender, and the first cut was 50% over our budget which "they care such about meeting ".
