I have to admit to being very shocked at the price of laying these tiles but it is my dream home... I have chosen not to go with the builders tiler as I was told they were extremely expensive by my sales rep. My first quote was from the tile shop. I think I will look around for more quotes closer to the time. Love these tiles! Can you please tell me what size and type they are? Thanks so much, and good luck with your build. I'd love to see your feedback on the interior decorating appointment tomorrow. Re: New build with Redink Madora Bay 37May 08, 2017 9:32 pm Will do, I am lucky enough to be off Work for a few days after having an argument with a food processor and losing. I rang this morning and was lucky enough that someone cancelled tomorrow. I was also told last week that I could not book prestart without having the colour consult so just keep that in mind. My sales consultant also strongly hinted to insist on having the pre start this month. He didn't elaborate as to why. The build has to start within 45 working days of the prestart meeting. @Madora Dreamer Re: New build with Redink Madora Bay 38May 09, 2017 7:07 pm Hi Rabbitburrows The interior design meeting went well. The first thing she picked up was that my wet area tile was not included in my package, which the shop manger had assured me it was when I picked it initially. It would have been a big, unexpected upgrade and I would have been very unhappy. We were able to find another tile within the budget that I was happy with. I was really struggling with the exterior colours and that is where she gave me the most help and I eventually deferred to her opinion as I just couldn't decide. She also really helped with what to upgrade at prestart and what to leave and do later. The only other thing was when we were at the showroom I had a look at the Clipsal electrical powerpoInts and light switches. HPM have nothing like them, even in the upgrades so have emailed to find out if I can bypass HPM and go through Clipsal instead. Just waiting for a reply. It was a long and quite draining day but should make prestart much easier as everything has been chosen. All I will have to do now is wait and see what the upgrades will cost and decide what to keep and what to let go of. @Madora Dreamer Re: New build with Redink Madora Bay 40May 09, 2017 9:17 pm I really liked the Saturn Zen by Clipsal but they are expensive compared to your normal light switch, they look so cool... @Madora Dreamer Thank you so much everyone. This all makes a lot of sense.
