As long as your dog can jump up and through that seems like a good way of doing it. I gather cutting the round hole in the glass is fiddly but not hard for them to do. Re: pet door 16Jul 10, 2018 10:30 pm As an update, we swapped the 'win21' door for Corinthian's 'Backdoor No.6' which is stained wood on the bottom and glass on the top. I hope that this will be easier to cut a dog door into when the time comes. The toughened glass wasn’t able to be cut - could have got another bit of glass installed but went with a new door from Bunnings and installed the dog door in the bottom. The amount of light into the laundry is fine with just the glass top half I think.
