Guess who's in????? Well kind of Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ The house is ours but one more night at the in laws and we are out of here :-p We Went over today and just sat in the kitchen for hours in disbelief that it's finally officially ours. Now to decorate and find some furniture for it haha which brings me to my question.. I have found a dining table I love.... and want to know if this tone of wood will go with my colours? help I am out of my depth here and a terrible decision maker haha the pic with the shelves is a better pic of the colour of tile IRL. w Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Re: Our Forever Home Build 152Jun 29, 2017 10:13 pm I think that wood tone will look lovely against your tiles Ladybugs Follow our build with Express Two Storey (Ventura Group): http://tinyurl.com/jlykgph Follow our build with Express Two Storey (Ventura Group): viewtopic.php?f=31&t=85122 Re: Our Forever Home Build 153Jun 30, 2017 7:40 am Congratulations Ladybugs! - B A vue of the pines on the Gold Coast forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=87210 Re: Our Forever Home Build 154Jun 30, 2017 7:50 am Oh how exciting!! You won't know yourself in there, especially after living with the inlaws! Also, that furniture would look amazing with your colours! Don't doubt that at all! Re: Our Forever Home Build 155Jun 30, 2017 8:58 am Wow I've missed so much!!! Congrats on everything, after issues with your first builder I would have sat for hours in disbelief too!! Looks utterly gorgeous!!! Love your home!!! No worries Congrats on handover! That tone of wood will look lovely! You can change the theme of it depending on how you wanted it styled. Would look great with whites and soft greys or taupe. Or even a splash of light blue. Soft greys and pinks for a scandi look. The choices are endless! Re: Our Forever Home Build 158Jul 01, 2017 8:29 pm Thank you for your advice guys! I am thinking these wood tones with greenery would look nice and want to have a grey, white and blush them in my room when I get around to it. I brought my table yesterday while moving over the phone lol lucky as James Lane had one left in the bug one, we pick it up on Monday yay!!! So we finished most of the move today, so buggered but still feels amazing to be in here <3 we moved all of our stuff yesterday that we have had for 2 1/2 yrs living at the in laws and today we moved all of our stuff we had in our container today, to which we found termites had somehow made their way in.. bye bye all of our nice bed frames but oh well means I can get a new bed when I can afford it right haha sleeping on the floor on our mattress for a while it is :-p Re: Our Forever Home Build 159Jul 01, 2017 9:28 pm Lovely house, I especially like your colours!! I am having a larger slightly marbled tile for our splash back ( in our kitchen) but would have gone for your (kitchen splash back) in the ensuite and laundry if I had have been able to select it out myself! We also have the cretement pewter tile but in our bathrooms/laundry, we have vinyl planks and carpet for the rest. Glad your second builder built your dream home with no issues (other than a few). Oh awesome! I can not wait to see yours! I couldn't be happier with the choices I made which is good a si was freaking out I made mistakes 😜 So we are loving the house, apart from the dishwasher leaking water every time it's used and the ducted sometimes blows cold air on the heating function 😏 Which I am sure shouldn't be happening?? But everything else is great, I have been majorly stressed though, not sure if I said in here already but when we moved from our last house we put all of our stuff in a storage container apart from the things we needed at the inlaws, so all toys, extra clothes, bed frames, photos pretty much our whole house. Well turns out termites and mood got into the container 😪 And everything had to be throwable out, and I meant pretty much everything 😭 I managed to save some photos and that's about it. Our chest freezer is now dead, our microwave works but smells of mood when on so that has to go, all our pots and pans smell of mood andeven my massive collection of Tupperware. Really gives a new meaning to a fresh start hey😏 But hey apart from that we have a roof over our head and an amazing house and there are way worse off people then me so I am thankful ❤️ Thank you so much everyone. This all makes a lot of sense.
